Su compleja articulaci\u00f3n y su organizaci\u00f3n en materias y cursos escolares de progresi\u00f3n vertical tiende a ofrecernos una visi\u00f3n lineal y compartimentada de los contenidos y los conocimientos que abarca cada asignatura y favorece que, dadas las condiciones en las que se desarrolla la pr\u00e1ctica docente (clases cortas, horarios fragmentados y sin conexiones entre materias, etc..) a menudo utilicemos el curriculo como guia pero tambi\u00e9n como l\u00edmite, como frontera que dificulta la conexi\u00f3n con otros conocimientos.<\/p>\n<p>El documento de 378 p\u00e1ginas del decreto que establece el curriculo actual para Secundaria y Bachillerato envuelve nuestra pr\u00e1ctica docente definiendo el \u00e1mbito de conocimiento de nuestra asignatura y sus contenidos, pero al mismo tiempo nos aisla de otros conocimientos que suceden precisamente en el aula del al lado, o en los momentos previos o posteriores a nuestro trabajo en el aula.<\/p>\n<p>Pero los contenidos no son conocimientos estancos, sino que evolucionan, se transforman y se completan desde otros enfoques disciplinares. \u00bfSabemos cuales son los nexos de nuestra materia con otras materias? \u00bflos tenemos en cuenta al planificar las clases y las actividades? \u00bfsabemos donde se abren caminos que conectan las artes con las ciencias? \u00bfla literatura con la geograf\u00eda o la historia?<\/p>\n<p>Si bien la organizaci\u00f3n del sistema educativo espa\u00f1ol para las etapas de primaria y secundaria no es precisamente flexible y transversal, nada impide que establezcamos aproximaciones personales a sus directrices, que definamos itinerarios propios que en momentos puntuales transiten entre materias, hiperv\u00ednculos que nos lleven hacia otros contenidos, otras asignaturas y otros enfoques, estableciendo complicidades con otros docentes y dise\u00f1ando actividades que propicien aproximaciones poliedricas a los contenidos, visiones m\u00faltiples que involucren saberes y disciplinas diversas, aproximaciones que evidencien los v\u00ednculos y la contaminaci\u00f3n entre asignaturas.<\/p>\n<p>Una lectura transversal del curriculo es un buen ejercicio para activar este tipo de aproximaci\u00f3n.
